Knits are one of the most flattering types of material and is also ultra feminine. But one main problem with knits and tropical weather is that it can get too stuffy. Enter sleeveless knitwear. Problem solved. For those in temperate countries, this can also be a good transition wear from summer to fall. I got inspired by Nicole Richie one day while watching Candidly Nicole (her hilarious mini series, please watch it!!). She can definitely pull of knit in a modern way. The key is to look for interesting detail / cutting / colour of the knitwear for a more contemporary feel.
