PLL Season 5: Party & Funeral looks - Who wore it best?

Fashion forward fans of Pretty Little Liars would know that there is always an occasion for the girls to dress up on the show. This season is no different , the girls got into their best white outfits for a winter wonderland themed party during the Christmas Special Edition episode. Who wore the best dress in my opinion?

This time around there wasn't any clear winner as I really love all their dresses. I love Aria's tulle midi dress, Emily's stunning sequined dress, Spencers modest but elegent silver gown and Hanna's lacy number with a sweet heart neckline. If I really had to choose one for my own, I would go with Emily's because of the flattering cut of the dress.

Next up is the obligatory funeral scene. Someone always die every season (sadly!) but these girls always turn up looking fashionable in their funeral dresses anyway...

Once again, love them all but if I had to choose it will be Emily's asymmetrical hem dress and Spencers work friendly check dress. Sorry, couldn't choose one! hah!

I will do a proper round of of my favourite looks in Season 5 once the season ends :)

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Part 1

Another season of Pretty Little Liars has come and this time we see some drastic style changes in some of the characters. My usual favourite, Hanna, was going through a dark grungy phase the entire first half of the season hence you will be seeing less of her here and more of....Mona! Surprise surprise! Here's a round up of the best outfits from the first 12 episodes.

This sharp Wednesday Addams number on Mona is simple yet so sleek (in fact, I spy Selena Gomez wearing a similar dress)
I prefer Aria in simpler outfits (like this "You're No Good" tee with studded shoulders) instead of her usually outrageous outfits.

This embellished cropped top is something that I actually want in my closet right now!
Spencer returns to her preppy self and signature animal prints in this giraffe sweater. Love the pairing with this blue jacket.

Oh look its Alison :)
Loving this simple muscle tee on Emily!
I can't decide which look I like more, Emily's sporty tropical inspired ensemble or Spencer's preppy midwestern look.

This is how you make leopard prints classy.

The marriage of white tulle and black leather somehow makes perfect sense here.

One of my favourites on the show is actually this electric blue jumper on Emily. Keeping it classy!
I would actually think this is more of an Aria outfit but it kinda works for Spencer too. Love everything about this look!

Acid wash, a lioness and lightning bolts. can't get any more powerful than this eh?

Once in awhile, we see something simple like a plain striped dress which totally works too.

I particularly remembered this episode because of this dress...which was paired with a t-shirt. What a brilliant way to dress down a fancy dress, Spencer.

Here's Mona channeling some 50s bombshell look, while the red swallow necklace adds a modern touch to it.

The mix of floral and plaid gives this a more ladylike take on plaid.

Unexpected pairing but hey, it worked out pretty well. Lets go pair some stripes with roses LIKE NOW.

Last but not least, I can't believe I only have one outfit of Hanna that I like this season! I guess this is the only one of her grungy looks that I can accept.

That's all for now. Till the next episode which will only be out near Christmas!! (sigh)

PLL Fashion Season 4: Part 1

My favourite TV series is back! I have just finished up to Episode 12 of Pretty Little Liars Season 4 and as usual, I spent half the time drooling over their fashion while trying to guess who 'A' is. They sorta gave a big clue on who 'A' is in Episode 12 and I have kinda guessed that it was him (oops spoiler) since second half of Season 3. I guess we have to wait for their Halloween episode to find out more. Can't wait!

Here are some of my favourite looks from Season 4 so far. Big thanks to WornOnTv for the images I'm using. You can go to their site to find out exactly where to get these outfits from :)

As usual, they have the most fashionable dresses and blazers featured on this show...just cant get enough of it season after season!

As usual, the obligatory funeral each season means we get to see all of them in the "chic"est black dresses in town.

Cant wait to share pictures from the remaining episodes. Stay tuned!

PLL Fashion Season 3 (Part 3)

My favourite time of the year - catching up on Pretty Little Liars which is now my favourite series since Gossip Girl ended. Of course, it is time for another PLL Fashion Update. These were from episodes 13-20. This time around, I took the initiative to print screen the outfits that I love from the episodes so I don't have to spend so much time searching for them online. So, most of these pictures are my own snaps. This season have definitely seen some change of styles with some of the characters (namely Mona) so stay tuned!

Aria's spunky sense of fashion can sometimes be OTT but somehow, she can always pull it off. Especially this leopard print skirt and tee paired with a bold black & white striped blazer. Although there is much going on, but sticking to a theme (animal prints) for most of the outfit makes it looks well thought out.

This was during the school marathon and I immediately fell in love with this studded sweater. Brings a boring track suit to life.

Here's what I mean with Mona's change of style...ever since she got out of the asylum she's been acting all prim and proper with cardigans, lace and lot of chiffon shirts. I must say I quite like this new look on her. Quite the work-friendly outfits too which us (normal) people could wear on a daily basis to work.

Of course they had to hop onto the peplum bandwagon with loads of structured peplum numbers this half of the season. Loving this maroon piece worn on Hanna which I think is work appropriate too (sometimes I wonder why these high school kids dress like they are going to work, but then again, I'm glad they did so I'd have something to write about! :)

This photo is solely to showcase Hanna's dress. I don't know why I seem to be attracted to clothes for work (probably cause I need more of them now!). This flowered number is flirty yet conservative, casual yet formal thanks to the added detail of the turtleneck.

Yet another work outfit. This was what Hanna wore for a job interview and I love the peplum and colour combination of this dress!

Here, Hanna takes a more masculine look which she wore to a lesbian club later on (haha doesn't this get interesting). Love the printed blazer and wearing just a tee with it kinda makes the look street worthy. Now on to Aria's outfit...Not a big fan of the dress but I love all the accessories she had on that day!

There's the interesting irregular shaped earring and the silver chunky necklace. Aria wears the most accessories of them all and its always very interesting to observe the details!

Love both their dresses! Aria's maxi semi see-through dress and Hanna's printed peter-pan collar dress. A bit proper for Hanna's usual style though but I like this look on her too.

Now this, is the typical Hanna style. She always have on an awesome blazer paired up with an equally awesome outfit below. Loving everything, from the lace top to the usage of bright yellow belt & collar which balances out the whole outfit to make it less "granny".

Spencer steps up this season with more girly outfits like this structured dress here which is (Once again) work worthy! She also shows a whole different side of her character, so those who have not watched, you better do so!

This is one of my Spencer favourites. Classy, elegant, work worthy (okay I should stop). But seriously, this is very Chanel inspired and is something I would totally wear.

Another one of Mona's preppy looks which is also very Chanel.

I absolutely love Aria's rose gold jeans here! Only she could pull of gold on gold without looking tacky *salute*

And then she does it again with metallic red pants!

That's all for this edition of PLL fashion. A few more episodes till the end of season and I can't wait :D
